Buena Vista, VA - The N.C. Wesleyan women's basketball program fell on the road on Saturday evening to Southern Virginia by a final score of 50-38. In a highly competitive showdown of two talented clubs,
Corynthian Williams led the charge for Wesleyan by securing ten points and looking really sharp on the floor. She would also post five rebounds and go 6-7 from the charity stripe.
Following the game where she secured her 1,000th career rebound,
Kayrisma Harrison was once again unstoppable on the boards. The forward from Weldon grabbed thirteen rebounds off the glass and also blocked a shot to be the only player on either team with over ten boards.
