Women's Basketball Rolls Past Greensboro 96-47

Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan women's basketball team was dominant over Greensboro in the home regular season finale. The Battling Bishops took down the Pride 96-47 and going on a 14 point scoring run out of the second half. Dominating inside and out, Wesleyan scored 32 of its 96 points in the paint, with Kayrisma Harrison contributing eighteen. Harrison also grabbed down eleven of the team's 60 rebounds in commanding fashion.

Freshman sharpshooter Harmony Martin found herself in a groove on Wednesday evening, going 4-6 from behind the arc, which ties a career high for the guard from Fayetteville. During the course of forty minutes, the Pride never held the lead and surrendered 24 second-chance points on a night where the Battling Bishops could not be contained on the boards.

Another impressive feat for Wesleyan was every single player got on the board in the blowout, while either recording a rebound or assist to their name with the bench scoring nearly half of the team's points.
