Staunton, VA - The N.C. Wesleyan women's basketball team competed on Saturday in its last regular season game against Mary Baldwin University. From the opening tip-off, it was clear the Battling Bishops were the dominant team as the first quarter ended with an eleven point lead. Corynthian Williams, as she scored thirteen points and knocked down three triples going into the break.

Coming out of the half, Wesleyan would play its best basketball of the season, only allowing Mary Baldwin to score six points in the third and extend the lead to 27 points. Made layups by Senior forward

Deonna Adams would be huge moments in the massive Battling Bishop run.
Wesleyan by nearly 30 points heading into the fourth quarter and did not slow down, dominating the fourth quarter to make the final score of the game 84-42.
The Battling Bishops made thirty field goals in the game compared to Mary Baldwin's thirteen, shot 42% compared to Mary Baldwin's 26%, and had nineteen points off turnovers compared to Mary Baldwin's five, among leading in virtually every other team statistic across the board.
Four Bishops were in double digits for the contest as
Johnay Goddard led the way with seventeen points,
Corynthian Williams had sixteen points,
Kayrisma Harrison had fifteen points, and Freshman sharpshooter
Harmony Martin had eleven points. Harrison also led the way with a team-high ten rebounds, and Simmons and Adams both tied for a team-high eight assists.
