Box Score Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan women's basketball team is moving on to the semifinals of the USA South Conference Tournament. Defeating the Falcons 69-54, the Battling Bishops intense defense forced 26 Falcon turnovers led by
Nadia Simmons and
Deonna Adams with three steals each. The Bishops also saw three key players in double-figures including
Kayrisma Harrison who led the way with a double-double of fourteen points and eleven boards. Fellow forward
Corynthian Williams contributed thirteen points and five boards to the effort and
Areina Harris dropped ten points of her own.

Tuesday's game was one of the most well balanced scoring games Wesleyan has had all season with eighteen of NCWU's baskets being assisted on and every Bishop seeing their name on the stat line. Playing together as a team, Coach Artina Trader as the Bishops playing its best basketball at the right time of the year.
Two key categories in the huge win were points in the paint and points off turnovers, where the Bishops separated from Pfeiffer. With thirty post points, the Bishops dominated the blocks with
Kayrisma Harrison leading the charge and being an unstoppable force for the Falcons. As one of the most versatile players in the league, Harrison went 6-8 from the field, while blocking a shot only to pad an astronomical stat sheet.
