Rocky Mount N.C. - N.C. Wesleyan secured a strong 64–53 USA South Conference victory over Methodist on February 17 at Everett Gymnasium in front of a large and spirited Alumni Night crowd. With former players and supporters filling the stands, the Bishops fed off the energy early and used a decisive second quarter to take control of the contest. After the game was tied 13–13 at the end of the first quarter, Wesleyan outscored Methodist 19–9 in the second period to build a 32–22 halftime advantage. The Bishops maintained their composure throughout the second half, matching Methodist in the third quarter before closing out the win in the fourth. Wesleyan forced 24 turnovers, turning them into 22 points, and added 30 points in the paint while also dominating the glass with 43 total rebounds in a complete team effort.
Anaya Hall led the way with 15 points and eight rebounds, attacking inside and converting at the free-throw line to spark key scoring runs. Dorinda Jordan added 11 points and four rebounds, while Alexandria Belton contributed nine points, four steals, and two assists to impact both ends of the floor. Kalaesia Lincoln provided a valuable lift off the bench with seven points and steady play in the second half, and Ansley Griffin added five points and three rebounds. With balanced scoring, defensive intensity, and a packed Alumni Night atmosphere behind them, the Bishops delivered an impressive home conference victory.
