Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan men's basketball team won a thrilling USA South game over Pfeiffer on Saturday 69-67. The Bishops had three key players in double-figures including
Marquis Eskew,
Austin Manley, and
Kyron Kelly. Eskew had eighteen in the winning effort, and hit a clutch layup with under ten seconds to go, switching hands and driving to his left.

Austin Manley, who has found his groove from behind the arc. Scoring sixteen points and draining four threes, Manley would go a perfect 4-4 from the charity stripe late in clutch moments. Big man
Kyron Kelly's ten point, six rebound effort saw him go 4-7 from the field. On the defensive end, he recorded two massive blocks in the game's final stanza which allowed for the winning Eskew layup.
The defensive side of the ball was key, forcing the falcons to turn the ball over sixteen times, which led to twenty-one runout buckets for the Bishops. The boards were also kind which
Jalen Mattocks leading the way with eight and the team outrebounding the Falcons 39-34.
