Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan baseball team defeated Pfeiffer 5-1 in the USA South opener Friday night at Bauer Field. The Battling Bishops would get an outstanding start from Junior
Dylan Cheeley who tossed seven one hit innings, while only allowing one earned run and striking out seven.

Davie Morgan would launch his 4th bomb of the season to cap off a well played game by the Battling Bishops in every aspect. Coming in relief for the final six outs was
Cullen Davis who did not allow a hit and struck out four Falcons.
