Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan lacrosse program held its annual Morgan's Message Game at Vernon T. Bradley, Jr. Stadium on Friday afternoon. Before the game, members of the organization from both teams were recognized following by a moment of silence in remembrance of Morgan Rodgers.

Rodgers was a former Duke University lacrosse athlete who died tragically in July 2019 after battling mental health struggles. Morgan's Message was created by her family and former teammates with the mission to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health, normalize the conversations about mental health, and to ensure that mental health is treated equally to physical health for all athletes. For more information on Morgan's life and legacy and how you can help those with mental health struggles, please visit morgansmessage.org.

While the Battling Bishops unfortunately fell to the Lions, it was a special day for the program and the athletic department would like to thank all who supported the special cause.
