Softball Crushes Salem in Twin Bill

Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan softball team crushed Salem on Saturday afternoon in run rule affairs at Edge Field. With the sweep, Wesleyan improves to 12-10 on the year.

Game 1:

N.C. Wesleyan 9, Salem 1

With seven runs in the first two frames, Emily Huphrey got the hit parade started with a sac-fly while Makayla Simmons tripled behind her to make it 2-0 in favor of the Battling Bishops. Walker later homered to left center in the fourth inning and brought around Lillie Baumbach.

On the mound, Morgan Aycock looked fantastic, tossing four innings of work and not allowing a single earned run.
