Rocky Mount, NC - On a day where everything was clicking for the Battling Bishops, Wesleyan had a thirteen hit afternoon in the defeat of #11 Christopher Newport. Heading into the final weekend of the regular season, the Battling Bishops sit at 26-10 overall and 15-3 in conference play.

Coming up clutch with a two out RBI knock in the 2nd, Colin Scoggins delivered the game's first run to bring home Davie Morgan. Keeping the momentum rolling in the third, Tyson Bass delivered his 14th bomb of the year to extend the lead to 3-0. Later in the inning, DH Javier Quintana knocked in Jackson Hobbs for his first of two RBIs on the day.

Scoring five runs in a monster 5th inning, Quintana drove in Bass for his second sac-fly of the day and Alex Moskal, Maison Nance, and Colin Scoggins all contributed RBI singles to break the game wide open.

Looking outstanding on the bump, Andrew Tubb earned his 4th win of the season, tossing six innings of work and only allowing three earned runs. Out of the bullpen, Marc Dennunzio and Dylan Cheeley had fantastic fastballs with great movement to not allow a run over the 7th and 8th frames.
