Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan baseball team completed the sweep of William Peace in a high scoring 10-9 walk off affair. Wesleyan scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth thanks to a leadoff double by
Davie Morgan and a wild pitch with no outs in the inning.
Jumping out with five runs the first two frames,
Jaiden Barker and
Colin Scoggins both delivered RBI singles in the first and Barker also doubled in the gap to send home
Drifton Padgett and
Jackson Hobbs in the second.
Tacking on two more runs in the 4th,
Tyson Bass launched his tenth homer of the season to left and was followed by another Scoggins RBI single.
On the mound for the Battling Bishops,
Preston Workman earned his second win of the year in relief, only allowing two hits over the course of 3.2 innings pitched.

The Bishops will travel to CNU on Tuesday afternoon for nationally ranked midweek action with the Captains.
