Newport News, VA - The N.C. Wesleyan baseball team traveled to #15 nationally ranked Christopher Newport for midweek action on Tuesday afternoon for the first of two meetings on the year. With the 8-5 loss, #25 Wesleyan falls to 19-9 on the season.

Javier Quintana got the 6th inning off to a bang, delivering a single up the middle on an 0-2 count to score

Drifton Padgett.
Wesleyan's final run of the contest came from the bat of

Maison Nance on an RBI groundout.
