Raleigh, NC - The Battling Bishop's women's soccer team fell in the final game of the NCWU/Meredith Classic in Raleigh to Wisconsin-Lutheran by a score of 4-1. Fighting hard until the 90th minute, the Bishops never quit and got on the board in the 87th minute with a goal by Eden Whiteside. Whiteside would score her first goal of the 2024 campaign thanks to an assist from Caitlyn Butler.

Only able to put together three shots on goal, Wisconsin-Lutheran controlled the pace of the contest, keeping the Bishops at midfield for most of the 90 minutes. Departing Raleigh, all but two Bishops saw the field on Saturday, earning valuable experience for the rest of the season.
