Rocky Mount, NC - The Battling Bishop's women's soccer program had its home opener on Wednesday against a strong and fast Guilford squad. The Quakers scored four unanswered goals to improve to 2-0 on the young season.

Guilford would get off to a hot start, scoring back-to-back goals at 31 and 38 minute marks by Naomi Campbell and Emily Parker to open up a 2-0 lead.
Jenna Shotton would later not only made it 3-0 for the Quakers, but also assisted on Trinity Robinson's goal for the fourth and final for Guilford on the afternoon. Bishop goalkeeper
Olivia Dyjewski was outstanding in goal, making seven incredible saves, while putting her body on the line for Wesleyan. The Sophomore from Wake Forest fended off over half of the Quaker shots on goal.
Up Next:
The women's soccer program will travel to Georgia this weekend and face off with LaGrange and Huntingdon on Friday and Sunday. Kickoff time at LaGrange is set for 7:00, while the Bishops will take on the Hawks at 11:00 AM to end the weekend.
