Lynchburg, VA - The N.C. Wesleyan volleyball team fell in a tightly contested match to Lynchburg on the road, 3-1, in the second match of the weekend. The Battling Bishops came out strong, winning the first set, but despite a valiant effort, they dropped the next three sets, including an extended fourth set that ended 27-29.

Sloan Martin had another outstanding showing for Wesleyan, leading the team with twelve kills and 21 assists, while Aajah Vasquez put on a clinic with seven blocks and seven kills. Vasquez also contributed from the service line with three aces.
