Rocky Mount, NC – The N.C. Wesleyan volleyball team dropped its home and conference opener to Meredith College in Everett Gymnasium Wednesday night. Before the game, Head Coach Vicky Gentile presented Super Senior Sloan Martin with a commemorative ball in recognition of her 1,000 career digs, a significant milestone for the Woodstock, GA native.
Martin would later dominate the game for Wesleyan, leading the Bishops in both kills and aces, tallying ten and three respectively. She also recorded an impressive eighteen digs, showcasing her all-around skill on the court.

The Bishops' freshmen made a lot of noise against the Angels as well. Chloe Baggett, a local product from Nash Central High School, added two aces to the team's effort, while Shay Lunsford stepped up with twelve assists, highlighting the promising future of Battling Bishop volleyball.
