Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan women's basketball team extended its win streak to five games with a 69-61 victory over Pfeiffer on Saturday. The Bishops showcased a dominant performance, maintaining control from start to finish.

For the second consecutive game, NCWU featured four players scoring in double figures, led by forward Corynthian Williams. Williams delivered an impressive eighteen points and six rebounds while shooting 6-of-9 from the field. Iyania Evans also made her presence felt in the paint, contributing fourteen points and three rebounds on an efficient 6-of-8 shooting.
Dorinda Jordan and Nadia Simmons added twelve points each to round out the well-balanced scoring effort. Jordan was a force on the boards, collecting eight rebounds, while Simmons displayed poise at the guard position, sinking four field goals and going a perfect 4-of-4 from the free-throw line.
The game was won inside, as Wesleyan overpowered Pfeiffer in the paint, scoring 46 points and outrebounding the Falcons 43-24. NCWU also pulled down seventeen offensive rebounds, translating into eighteen second-chance points. The defensive intensity was equally effective, holding Pfeiffer scoreless from beyond the arc and forcing sixteen Falcon turnovers.
