Rocky Mount, NC - The North Carolina Wesleyan men's basketball program has officially announced its 2025–26 schedule, featuring a challenging non-conference slate, several tournaments, and a competitive USA South campaign as the Bishops look to build on last season's momentum under head coach John Thompson.
The season tips off with a high-profile exhibition matchup at NCAA Division I UNC Charlotte on Monday, October 20 at Dale F. Halton Arena. The contest provides an early test for the Bishops against elite competition before the team officially opens regular season play in November.
Non-Conference Action
The Bishops begin its regular season at the William Peace Classic in Raleigh, facing Johnson & Wales (N.C.) on Saturday, November 8 before meeting Bridgewater the following afternoon.
Wesleyan then returns home for its season opener on Wednesday, November 12 against Guilford inside Everett Gymnasium. The early home stretch continues with a marquee matchup against Christopher Newport on Wednesday, November 19, and a midday showdown versus Regent on Wednesday, December 3.
December also features the return of the Roger Taylor Invitational, a two-day home classic on December 5–6. The Bishops will host Mid-Atlantic Christian on Friday night and Newport News Apprentice on Saturday afternoon.
The non-conference portion of the schedule concludes with road contests at Regent (Dec. 10) and Mary Washington (Dec. 15) before closing the calendar year at home against Piedmont on December 30.
USA South Conference Play
Conference action begins on Saturday, January 3, when the Bishops host Pfeiffer for its USA South opener. The league slate includes home-and-away matchups with all conference rivals, including Mary Baldwin, Greensboro, Brevard, Southern Virginia, William Peace, Methodist, and Pfeiffer.

Wesleyan will close out regular season play with a three-game road stretch at Methodist (Feb. 17) and Brevard (Feb. 21) before heading into the postseason.
Postseason Path
The USA South Conference Tournament begins on Tuesday, February 24, with the semifinals set for February 26 and the championship scheduled for Saturday, February 28.
