Wesleyan battled hard throughout its December 15 road contest at Mary Washington but ultimately fell 75–46, showing effort and competitiveness against a strong opponent. The Bishops stayed within reach early, trailing 34–22 at halftime, and continued to compete on both ends of the floor.
Rashod Smith led the scoring for Wesleyan with 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting, including a three-pointer, while also logging heavy minutes and applying defensive pressure.
