The Bishops set the tone early by outscoring Meredith 27–17 in the first quarter, building momentum with aggressive play in the paint and strong rebounding. After Meredith made several pushes to tighten the score, Wesleyan responded with timely baskets and defensive stops, finishing the game by outscoring the Avenging Angels 19–14 in the fourth quarter. Wesleyan controlled the glass with 48 total rebounds and generated 46 points in the paint, while also capitalizing on turnovers for 22 points, allowing the Bishops to maintain control throughout the contest.

Anaya Hall led N.C. Wesleyan with a standout performance, scoring 24 points and pulling down 10 rebounds to anchor the Bishops on both ends of the floor.
