Bishops Celebrate Senior Day with Dominant 83–50 Victory

Rocky Mount N.C. - N.C. Wesleyan celebrated Senior Day in dominant fashion on February 14, defeating Mary Baldwin 83–50 at Everett Gymnasium in front of a large and supportive home crowd. With seniors honored pregame and fans filling the stands, the Bishops fed off the energy early, building a 21–12 first-quarter lead and extending it to 45–26 by halftime. Wesleyan never allowed Mary Baldwin to gain momentum, outscoring the Fighting Squirrels 18–6 in the fourth quarter to seal the decisive victory. The Bishops controlled the paint with 60 points inside, forced turnovers that led to 30 points, and dominated the glass with 51 rebounds. Their depth was also on display, as the bench contributed 38 points in a complete team performance.

Anaya Hall led the way with 16 points, attacking efficiently and setting the tone offensively. Des'Myah Croom matched her with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting while adding five rebounds and a block. Dorinda Jordan delivered a strong Senior Day performance with 14 points, four rebounds, and five steals, impacting the game on both ends of the floor. Da'Vyne Johnson added 13 points, while Alexandria Belton contributed nine points and five rebounds. Joy Ezeh controlled the boards with eight rebounds and six assists, helping anchor the interior. With balanced scoring, defensive intensity, and a packed Senior Day atmosphere behind them, the Bishops secured an emphatic home conference victory.
