The Bishops trailed 36–34 at halftime but responded with a strong second-half performance, pouring in 57 points after the break to seize control down the stretch. Wesleyan shot 51.7 percent from the field and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line, using efficient offense and poise late to close out the win. The Bishops attacked consistently inside, finishing with 42 points in the paint, while also capitalizing in transition with 23 fast-break points and converting 17 points off turnovers in a competitive road environment.
