Rocky Mount, N.C. - N.C. Wesleyan delivered an impressive performance on Alumni Night at Bauer Field, earning a 14-6 victory over William Peace in a great night under the lights. The Battling Bishops combined timely hitting with patience at the plate, drawing 15 walks and capitalizing on key scoring opportunities to pull away.

After allowing an early run, Wesleyan responded in the first inning when Schumata Brown scored on an RBI walk from Brady Williams to even the game. William Peace briefly regained the lead with a two-run fourth, but the Bishops answered with a decisive six-run inning in the bottom half. Malachi Hayes drove in a run with a bases-loaded walk before Brown delivered a two-RBI single. Maison Nance added an RBI double, and Kyle Brazaeu contributed a sacrifice fly as Wesleyan surged ahead.

The Bishops continued to build momentum in the fifth, highlighted by a three-RBI single from Banks Hartman that extended the lead to 10-3. Wesleyan added three more runs in the seventh, taking advantage of walks and defensive miscues, and tacked on another in the eighth to put the game out of reach.

Brown led the offense with three hits and two RBIs, while Hartman finished a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBIs. Hayes reached base multiple times and scored three runs, and Nance added an extra-base hit in the win. On the mound, Colby Lewis earned the victory with six solid innings, allowing three runs while striking out two. Drake Hobgood and Sam Johnson combined in relief to close out the strong showing as Wesleyan secured the win in front of the home crowd on a memorable Alumni Night.
