The Battling Bishops controlled the contest from the opening draw and never looked back, using a dominant first quarter and balanced offensive attack to secure the convincing victory.

Wesleyan jumped out to a commanding 7-0 lead in the opening quarter, setting the tone early behind strong offensive play from Maxima Iglesias and Nicole Triassi. Iglesias finished with a standout performance, recording six goals and five assists for an 11-point outing, while Triassi added five goals of her own. Kelsi Oyer contributed two goals and an assist, and Eliana Butler added a goal to round out the Bishops' scoring.

The Bishops continued to apply pressure throughout the game, outshooting William Peace 25-13 while winning the draw control battle 15-7. Wesleyan carried a 10-2 advantage into halftime and maintained control throughout the second half. Triassi added a key man-down goal in the third quarter, while Iglesias capped the scoring with two late goals in the fourth.

Defensively, goalkeeper Elizabeth Daniels played all 60 minutes and recorded three saves as the Wesleyan defense limited William Peace to just four total goals and four shots on goal. The Bishops also forced multiple turnovers and consistently controlled possession throughout the contest.
