Greensboro, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan men's basketball team faced a tough challenge on Saturday, falling 99-54 to NCAA Division I UNC Greensboro in an exhibition matchup. The Bishops struggled to keep pace with the highly-touted Spartans but showed strong individual efforts throughout the game.

Justin Burden led the way for Wesleyan with thirteen points and three rebounds, hitting a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. Senior Kyron Kelly added seven points, along with four rebounds, while fellow senior Marquis Eskew also chipped in seven points, making three field goals.
A bright spot for the Bishops came from stretch forward Marcus Portis, who provided a spark off the bench, scoring eight points and leading the team at the free-throw line with a 6-for-9 performance.
