Box Score 1 Rocky Mount, NC - The Battling Bishop's softball team hosted Worcester Poly Institute on Sunday in a scheduled DH at Edge Field. Falling 13-5 in game one, the Bishops would bounce back and hold a 8-3 lead in the 4th before the contest was suspended.

Falling behind early in the first by way of a double, Makayla Simmons and Savannah Thompson punched back in the fourth by way of the double to tie the score at two. Simmons wold later drive in her second run of the game in the seventh with a sac fly to bring in Ava Lowry. Freshman Frances Hanshew capped off her fantastic week with another RBI on the scoresheet in the sixth to scrap away at the WPI lead.
