Rocky Mount, NC - The North Carolina Wesleyan baseball team will return to Bauer Field this Thursday, October 9, for its annual fall play date, hosting Louisburg in a noon doubleheader. The matchup marks one of the final tune-ups for the Battling Bishops before closing the fall season with the Fall World Series next week.
The doubleheader will feature two nine-inning games as head coach Greg Clifton and the Bishops look to evaluate a deep roster of returners and newcomers ahead of the 2026 campaign. Fans can catch all the action live and free of charge on the Battling Bishop Sports Network YouTube channel.
This scrimmage serves as a valuable opportunity for Wesleyan to continue building team chemistry and testing new lineups under live conditions. Following Thursday's twinbill, the Bishops will cap its fall schedule with the 2025 Fall World Series, set for October 15–17, also at Bauer Field.
