Greensboro, NC - North Carolina Wesleyan second baseman Javier Quintana has been named to the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region Third Team for Region six, as announced by the American Baseball Coaches Association.

The honor highlights Quintana's impressive senior campaign and places him among the top players in the region. The ABCA/Rawlings All-Region teams are voted on by member coaches of the ABCA, with selections made by the NCAA Division III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee. These annual awards recognize outstanding performances across ten regions nationwide.

Quintana started all 38 games for the Battling Bishops this spring, anchoring the lineup with a .343 batting average while collecting 49 hits in 143 at-bats. He tallied fourteen doubles, eight home runs, and 33 RBIs, scored 42 runs, and reached base at a .481 clip. His .608 slugging percentage ranked among the team's best, and he demonstrated excellent plate discipline by drawing 37 walks and being hit by a pitch twice.

"Javier has been the heartbeat of our infield and a consistent force at the plate all year long," said head coach Greg Clifton. "He plays the game the right way, and it's great to see him recognized on a regional level for everything he's brought to our program."

With this recognition, Quintana adds to North Carolina Wesleyan's proud tradition of producing high-performing student-athletes on the baseball field. His impact, both statistically and as a team leader, cements his legacy within the program and strengthens Wesleyan's presence on the national Division III stage.
