USA South Conference Rookie of the Week Emilee Wilson
ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – North Carolina Wesleyan freshman Emilee Wilson has been named the USA South Volleyball Rookie of the Week after a standout performance that helped the Battling Bishops to a perfect 3-0 record.

The Winterville, N.C. native was a steady presence on the court throughout the week, averaging 6.70 assists, 3.30 digs, 2.33 service aces, and 1.40 kills per set in victories over Mary Baldwin, Penn State DuBois, and Regent. Her ability to contribute in multiple areas of the game demonstrated her versatility and impact as a first-year collegiate player.

Wilson tallied two double-doubles during the stretch, highlighted by a season-high 39 assists in the Bishop's win over Penn State DuBois and 17 digs against Regent. She also showcased her serving ability with five aces in a single match, while adding balance to the offense with five kills in two different contests. Her consistent play at the setter position has given the Bishops both stability and momentum, while her all-around production continues to establish her as one of the conference's most promising newcomers.

With this honor, Wilson becomes the latest Battling Bishop to be recognized at the conference level, reflecting both her individual success and the program's continued growth. She and the Bishops will look to carry that momentum into their upcoming matches as they prepare for the heart of the USA South schedule.
