Rocky Mount, N.C. - The NCWC women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 sweep of Mary Baldwin University in Sunday's USA South Conference opener in Rocky Mount. The Bishops surrendered just three total games on the day.

The Bishop duos of Florencia Sorrentino/Stephany Barbera, Nicole Halabi/Manuela Cano, and Andrea Tobar/Leigh Hales were all 8-0 winners in doubles play. Halabi, Tobar, Cano, and Hales went on to post 6-0, 6-0 wins at #3 through #6 singles, respectively, while Sorrentino and Barbera also won in straights.

Wesleyan (3-4, 1-0 USA South) continues league play on Monday and Tuesday with a pair of road matches at Ferrum and Meredith, respectively.
