Lady Bishop Tennis Shuts Out Meredith

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC Wesleyan College women's tennis team rolled to a 9-0 shutout win over conference foe Meredith College on the road Monday afternoon.

Wesleyan's three doubles teams combined to drop just one game as they outscored the Angels 24-1.

Senior Giulia Zanetti (#2), freshman Elisa Mariotti at #3, and junior Chandler Brice at #6 then completely shut out their foes 6-0, 6-0 each. This is while freshman Stefanie Wilske at the top line, fellwo freshman Julie Schoorsmans at #4, and senior Talitha Rowan at #5 only relinquished one game each in winning 6-1, 6-0.

The Lady Bishops now improve to 5-6 overall and 3-0 in the conference while dropping Meredith to 2-4. Wesleyan will continue their season on Wednesday when they host William Peace at Noon.
