Golf Places Fourth at Don Scalf Memorial

Rocky Mount, NC - In the annual golf tournament hosted by NCWU, The Battling Bishops put up an outstanding top three performance. In total, the Wesleyan "A" team shot +36 which was only behind Shenendoah and Sandhills CC who has won three straight NJCAA National Championships.

Wesleyan's lowest scorer came by the way of the Durham native Bycen Swain. In the two rounds, Swain shot even par in the first day and followed that up with a two under par outing on Monday to finish within the top five.

Freshman Arnau Margall had an outranging first college match shooting +6 on the weekend, to place in the top 11. Margall's +3 in both rounds also made him the highest finishing freshman at the entire tournament.

The golf team will be back in action on October 2nd where they will travel to the O'Briant Jensen Memorial.
