Rocky Mount, NC - The N.C. Wesleyan golf team put on a stellar performance this week as NCWU hosted the annual Don Scalf Memorial Tournament. Highlighting the event was a remarkable individual victory by Senior
Myles Patterson, who dominated the field to take home the tournament's top honor.
Patterson was superb across both days of the event. He shot an impressive one-under-par 71 on Sunday, followed by an extraordinary four-under 68 on Monday. His 33 on the front nine in the final round was the best of any golfer in the event, securing him the individual title.
The Battling Bishops, as a team, finished second overall at Belmont Lake Golf Club, bolstered by the strong play of freshman Matthew Tonin. Tonin, competing in his first-ever collegiate tournament, showed poise beyond his years, shooting three-over-par for the weekend and contributing significantly to the team's outstanding finish.
