Charlotte, NC - The North Carolina Wesleyan men's basketball team opens the 2025–26 season on Monday night with an exhibition matchup against NCAA Division I opponent UNC Charlotte inside Dale F. Halton Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

The contest provides the Battling Bishops an early opportunity to test themselves against a talented 49ers squad that competes in the American Athletic Conference. Charlotte finished 11-22 last season and open their regular season on November 3 against Indiana State and will face a challenging non-conference slate that includes Davidson, Virginia Tech, and Appalachian State.

Following Monday's exhibition, Wesleyan begins its regular season November 8–9 in Raleigh at the William Peace Classic, taking on Johnson & Wales and Bridgewater. The Bishops' home opener is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, against Guilford at Everett Gymnasium.
