Women’s Soccer Announces 2026 Summer Camp Lineup

Rocky Mount, NC - North Carolina Wesleyan women's soccer is pleased to announce its full slate of 2026 summer camps, offering exciting opportunities for young athletes of all skill levels to develop their game with the Battling Bishops coaching staff. This year's camp schedule features four unique options, ranging from introductory sessions for beginners to a collegiate identification clinic for advanced players. All camps will be directed by NCWU head coach Beverly Biancur and her staff.

The Battling Bishops Lil Kix Day Camp returns July 13, 15, and 17 for boys and girls ages 4–5. Designed as a one-hour soccer exploration, this camp introduces young players to basic movement, ball control, and fun with a soccer ball. Sessions emphasize coordination, agility, and foundational dribbling skills—highlighting that while anyone can kick a ball, learning proper control comes first. Sibling discounts, and scholarship opportunities are available. Cost is $120.

Youth players ages 6–15 can participate in the 2026 Battling Bishops Youth Day Camp, scheduled for July 13–17 from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. each day. This co-ed camp focuses on technical development in a fun, competitive atmosphere. Campers will learn individual skills, enjoy small-sided and team competitions, and receive guidance in teamwork and cooperative play. Advanced participants will receive elevated instruction in the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological areas of the game. The camp fee of $325 includes a camp T-shirt, soccer ball, lunch, and Gatorade.

Prospective college players ages 14–18 are invited to the 2026 N.C. Wesleyan Women's Soccer ID Clinic on August 8 at Scalf Soccer Field. Running from 9 a.m.–2:30 p.m., the one-day clinic offers a true collegiate training experience and provides participants the opportunity to work directly with NCWU coaches, as well as coaches from invited institutions. The schedule includes technical and tactical sessions, small-sided and full-sided games, goalkeeper training, campus tours, and a lunch-hour Q&A with college coaches. The cost is $100 and includes lunch and a camp shirt.

Rounding out the summer is the Battling Bishops Team Speed and Agility Residential Camp, held July 15–19 for co-ed athletes entering grades 12–16. The camp blends high-level speed and agility training with technical and tactical development in both day and evening sessions. Campers will also participate in nightly discussions covering nutrition, conditioning, recruiting, and training periodization. A certified athletic trainer will be onsite for all field sessions. Cost for residential campers is $415, while commuter campers may register for $335. Fees include a camp shirt, soccer ball, meals, and Gatorade.

All camps follow NCWU's refund and cancellation policy, which allows for refunds minus a $25 processing fee up to 10 days before camp. Cancelations within 10 days of the start date are non-refundable. Available discounts include multi-sibling savings, NCWU staff and alumni coupon codes, and team rate options for groups of five or more.

North Carolina Wesleyan University proudly acknowledges Davenport Autopark as the official sponsor of camp shirts for four women's sports programs during the 2026 camp season, including women's soccer, softball, volleyball, and women's basketball.
