Virginia Beach, VA - The N.C. Wesleyan golf team completed play at the Marlins Invitational, finishing with a team total of 617 (+41) after two rounds at Cypress Point Country Club. The Bishops recorded scores of 305 in the first round and 312 in the second, placing NCWU third overall in the tournament.
Guido Guevara led the way for Wesleyan, finishing with a two-round total of 150 (+6) after posting scores of 74 (+2) and 76 (+4). Myles Patterson and Mason Fischer each contributed steady performances, with Patterson carding rounds of 76 (+4) and 79 (+7) for a total of 155 (+11), while Fischer improved in round two with a 76 (+4) after an opening 79 (+7), finishing at 155 (+11) as well.
Lucas Perez Souts shot 76 (+4) in the first round before closing with an 82 (+10) for a total of 158 (+14), while Juan Pielach and Matteo Tonin finished at 163 (+19) and 162 (+18), respectively.
