Track & Field Shines at Virginia Beach Spring Break Invitational

Virginia Beach, VA - The N.C. Wesleyan track and field teams delivered strong performances at the Virginia Beach Spring Break Invitational on Saturday, with multiple top finishes and standout individual efforts.

Women's Highlights:
Ti'Asia Bryant continued her dominant season, securing a first-place finish in the 4x100m relay and earning runner-up honors in both the 100m and 200m. Her performances solidified her No. 1 ranking in the USA South for the 100m, 200m, and 400m, while also positioning her first in the South Region in the 100m (12.08), fifth in the 200m (25.57), and sixth in the 400m (1:00.90). Nationally, Bryant ranks eighth in the 100m and 28th in the 200m.

KeSondra Pickett also showcased her versatility, capturing first place in the triple jump (10.86m, 35' 7.75") and finishing second in the 400m (1:02.36). She currently holds the top USA South ranking in the long jump and second in the triple jump. Additionally, she placed fourth in the long jump (4.92m, 16' 1.75").

Men's Highlights:
On the men's side, Juan Abascal put together a strong performance in the 800m, placing fourth overall with a time of 2:03.48.
