North Carolina Wesleyan's indoor track and field programs delivered a standout season, highlighted by a strong group of student-athletes earning All-South Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The recognition is awarded to the top eight performers in each event across the region, making it one of the most prestigious honors at the Division III level and a testament to the Battling Bishops' success throughout the indoor season.
On the men's side, NC Wesleyan was well represented across both track and field events. Chance Bass earned All-Region honors in the 200 meters, 400 meters, and as a member of the 4x400 meter relay, showcasing his versatility and impact across multiple events. Noah Boykin secured recognition in the shot put, while Jamel Corey earned honors in the 60 meters, 200 meters, and long jump, highlighting his dynamic ability in both sprinting and field events. Ja'Mario Young was recognized in the 200 meters and as part of the 4x400 meter relay, joining teammates Savion Kinard and Jalial Timmons on the All-Region 4x400 relay squad, a unit that consistently delivered strong performances throughout the season.
The women's team matched that success with an impressive group of honorees. Saniya Hall earned All-Region recognition as part of the 4x400 meter relay, while Ti'Asia Bryant added to the sprint depth with honors in the 60 meters, 200 meters, and 4x400 relay. NaQuayla Stanford delivered a standout season with recognition in the 200 meters, 400 meters, long jump, and 4x400 relay, demonstrating her impact across multiple disciplines. Londyn Green-Dubose rounded out the group with All-Region honors in the triple jump.
Highlighting the group is Kamiyah Wooten, who emerged as one of the premier athletes in the South Region this season. Wooten earned All-Region honors in four events — the 60 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, and as a member of the 4x400 meter relay — solidifying her status as one of the most versatile and dominant performers in the region. Her ability to excel across both short sprints and longer sprint events, while also contributing to a high-performing relay squad, underscores her importance to the Battling Bishops' success and places her among the elite competitors in NCAA Division III.
These honors reflect not only individual excellence but also the continued growth and strength of the NC Wesleyan track and field program. With multiple athletes earning recognition across a wide range of events, the Battling Bishops have firmly established themselves as a competitive force in the South Region and continue to build momentum heading into future championship competition.
