Bryant Earns Spot in NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in 100-Meter Dash

Geneva, OH - North Carolina Wesleyan's Ti'Asia Bryant has officially qualified for the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in the 100-meter dash, as announced by the NCAA on Friday evening. The national meet is scheduled to take place May 22-24 at the SPIRE Institute's Outdoor Track & Field facility in Geneva, Ohio.

Bryant, a sophomore sprinter, has been a consistent force for the Battling Bishops this outdoor season, highlighted by a season-best time of 11.82 seconds at the Trojan Relays in April. That mark helped solidify her place among the top sprinters in Division III and earn her spot in the national field. She will line up in the 100-meter prelims on Friday, May 23, with the finals set for Saturday, May 24 at 2:40 PM.

"We are extremely proud of Ti'Asia and all the hard work she has put in throughout the season," said N.C. Wesleyan Head Coach Bill Dunn. "She has consistently improved her times, stepped up against top-tier competition, and earned this moment. To have her representing Wesleyan on the national stage is a great accomplishment not only for her but for our entire program."

Bryant has delivered strong performances throughout the 2025 campaign, including a 100-meter runner-up finish at the USA South Conference Championships with a time of 12.29 seconds into a strong headwind. She also anchored the Bishops' 4x100-meter relay team to a conference title and contributed in the 200 and 400-meter events across several meets.

Her season résumé includes top-five finishes at the Mount Olive First Chance Meet, the Big Orange Invite, and the Virginia Beach Spring Break Invitational. Most notably, she recorded six sub-12 second times in the 100-meter dash throughout the season.

Bryant becomes the latest Bishop to qualify for an NCAA national championship in track & field, continuing a proud tradition for the Wesleyan program. Fans can follow live coverage of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships via NCAA.com.
