Newport News, VA - The North Carolina Wesleyan golf team posted a sixth-place team finish at the 2025 Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial hosted by The Apprentice School, wrapping up play with a two-round total of 620 (+44).
The Bishops carded rounds of 313 and 307, finishing just one stroke behind Christopher Newport's B team and four shots outside the top four.
Individual HighlightsÂ
Sophomore Lucas Perez Souts delivered another standout performance, tying for second place individually with a two-day total of 145 (+1). After opening with a 73, Perez Souts followed with an even-par 72 to secure a share of runner-up honors in the 90-plus golfer field.
Senior Guido Guevara also cracked the top ten, finishing in a tie for eighth at 150 (+6) after rounds of 76 and 74.
Myles Patterson tied for 39th overall with a 159 (+15), carding rounds of 79 and 80.
Mason Fischer shot 85 and 81 to finish tied for 61st at 166 (+22), while Juan Pielach (174, +30) and Aiden Priestley-Koch (175, +31) rounded out the Bishop scoring.
