Rocky Mount, NC - North Carolina Wesleyan Athletics is set to host the USA South Cross Country Championship on Saturday, October 28th. The pristine campus in Rocky Mount has provided the USA South its championship course every year since the 2019 season. This fall, both cross country programs have had successful seasons with six meets and a trip to New York City. 

On Saturday, Ayden Harper and Philly Barungi will look to capture the conference crowns after record seasons. Barungi came away victorious on the same course earlier in the year when he won the N.C. Wesleyan Classic and posted the conference's top time in the 6,000 meters running a 22:17.

Junior Ayden Harper will also look to zoom by the competition by matching his personal best set in the Livingstone Invitational where he had a top fifteen finish against mostly DI AND DII competitors.

The athletic department and USA South Athletic Conference look forward to welcoming everyone to the 2023 championship beginning at 10:00 for the women's race and 11:00 for the men's race.
