The N.C. Wesleyan cross country programs competed at the UNCW Beach Blast and Queen City Invitational events. Coming off a first place finish at the N.C. Wesleyan Classic,
Philly Barungi would have a top 35 finish in Wilmington running a 18:02:38 in the 500 meters.
Quincy Brown and
Nathaniel Larrieu would also qualify in the top 50 competitors, both running under a 23:20.
On the women's side of the equation in Wilmington,
Kamiyah Wooten and
Mariah Brooks would be Wesleyan's only two competitors. Wooten would have a great top-25 showing with a time of 25:35:45.
In Charlotte, Ayden Hraper would come out with a time of 06:10:3 in a field of nearly 140 competitors. Next up, the Battling Bishops cross country program will take a bite out of the big apple as they travel to NYC for the Queensborough Invite.
