Richmond, VA - The N.C. Wesleyan cross country teams delivered competitive performances this past weekend at the Panther XC Invitational, with several Battling Bishops posting strong finishes in a field of formidable runners.
Men's Team Highlights
On the men's side, standout runner Dwyan Rowe led the charge for Wesleyan, securing a 12th-place finish with a solid time of 31:47.7 over the challenging course. Rowe's impressive performance set the tone, as he maintained a steady pace throughout the race and finished just outside the top twenty.
Also making waves for the Bishops was Abu Dolley, who earned a spot in the top 25. Dolley crossed the line with a time of 35:18.9.
Women's Team Highlights
The women's team was paced by Kamiyah Wooten, who claimed 22nd place with a strong time of 26:58.3. Wooten ran a consistent race, battling through the tough conditions to lead the Bishops in a competitive field.
KenSondra Pickett also delivered a notable effort, finishing 36th with a time of 33:39.5. Pickett's performance highlighted the depth of the women's team as she has had a great Freshman season.
