The Battling Bishops defeated Pfeiffer 71-66 in its first USA South victory of the season behind Nadia Simmons, who dropped eighteen points and eight rebounds along with three assists.

The Weekend Ahead

NCWU will host Southern Virginia on Friday night and then turn around and face Piedmont on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM. Everett Gymnasium will also house a neutral site game featuring the Knights and Lions on Saturday at 2:00 PM. 

The Opponent

The Southern Virginia Knights are off to a fantastic start in 2024-25 with a 7-2 record and taking down top-10 Christopher Newport by a score of 69-65. Junior guard Abigail Snyder leads the Knights in scoring, averaging 15.6 points per game.
