Blacksburg, VA - The N.C. Wesleyan women's track & field team delivered an impressive showing this weekend, highlighted by standout performances from Kamiyah Wooten and Ti'Asia Bryant against a strong field of competitors, including athletes from ACC programs.
Kamiyah Wooten continued to make history in the 400-meter dash, finishing second overall with a stellar time of 55.76 seconds. Her performance not only broke the conference record, but also ranks her third nationally and first in the south region in the 400m event. Wooten also competed in the 60-meter dash, where she clocked a blazing USA South Conference-best time of 7.70 seconds. This mark ranks her third in the south region.
Sophomore Ti'Asia Bryant also represented NCWUÂ in the 60-meter dash, posting a prelims time of 7.75 seconds, enough for a top twenty finish in a loaded field.Â
