Eric Jarman was an outfielder and a four-year letterwinner from 1987-1990 for the Battling Bishop baseball team. He was a First Team Dixie All-Conference performer in 1988 and 1990 and was selected to the Second Team in 1989. Additionally,Jarman was an All-Region selection and a First Team All-American in 1990.

Jarman was part of Wesleyan teams that won three Dixie Conference Championships, advancing to the NCAA World Series. Itwas in the 1989 World Series that his homerun, his second of the game, in the top of the 13th inning defeated Cal State Stanislaus, 8-7, for the Division III National Championship. He set Division III World Series records that season for total bases in a series (30) and in a game (12). He was later named NCWU Outstanding Male Athlete for the 1989-1990 season. 

At the time of his induction, Jarman ranked fifth all-time at Wesleyan in batting average (.368) and fourth in doubles (51).
