The greatest running back in Wesleyan history, Jacques Alston holds the career rushing yards record with 3,907 in a four year span. On 11/2/2013, Alston ran for 86 yards on a single play against Ferrum, which is the third longest rushing play in school history. The school's all-purpose yards holder with 5,808 for his career, Alston is also second all-time in school history for kick return yardage. Earning first-team all-conference accolades in 2013 and 2014, he was the football offensive MVP all four years as a Bishop.
