One of the most prolific Diamond Bishop players in school history, 1999 National Champion Jeremy Stewart enters the NCWU Hall of Fame Class of 2022. Homering in the bottom of the 7th to tie the national championship game at 5-5, Stewart completed the comeback to give the Battling Bishops its second national title.
Earning All-American accolades in 1997, Stewart is top five all time in many statistical categories including being NCWU's all-time doubles leader with 63 in his four year career and the RBI record holder at 194. The 1999 baseball MVP also has the distinction of being top five all-time in school history with 247 career hits.Â
